BILLIARDS fans all over the Philippines and the world will be able to catch the electrifying action of the Mandaluyong Mayor’s Cup live over ABS-CBN’s Studio 23 and through a webcast at www.rayasports.com this weekend. The MMC is the first leg of the San Miguel Beer presented Philippine Pool Tour, a series of international Ten Ball tournaments by the Billiards and Snooker Congress of the Philippines (BSCP) in various cities throughout the country. Organized through the efforts of Mandaluyong Mayor and League of Cities President Ben-hur Abalos, select MMC quarterfinal, semifinal and the full final matches will be aired over Studio 23 on Saturday 10 May to Sunday 11 May 2008 at 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The show will also feature highlights from the start of the tournament dubbed “Showdown in Tiger City” last Tuesday, May 6. |
